About the Collab

Paolita is incredibly excited to share our latest creative endeavor, a vibrant collaboration with luxury shoe atelier A Piedi.

A guest brand of the Paolita Lifestyle Edit since 2020, A Piedi’s timeless approach to footwear design, meticulous artisan skill, and generational family-run roots are central to what we love about their brand.

To partner with A Piedi on this collaboration is not only an opportunity for us to showcase incredible products, but also to emphasize the ethos and values of the Paolita brand.

Recycled with love ♻️

With sustainability as the key pillar of the collab, this uniquely crafted collection is made completely with upcycled leather offcuts from the A Piedi atelier, as well as vibrant, previous-season Paolita swimwear fabric, that is already made from 100% recycled material.

In doing so, creative directors Anna Paola (Paolita) and Mariam Syed (A Piedi) have been able to breathe new life into materials that would otherwise gather dust in archives or end up in landfill.

Every A Piedi shoe is hand-crafted by a team of expert artisans in a factory in Pakistan that has been owned and run by the family of A Piedi founder, Mariam Syed, for three generations. Created with timeless design in mind, each style is carefully considered, designed to transcend trends and be worn season after season.

“This collaboration has been such a labour of love primarily for its purpose, but equally, the synergies and the energy that transpired from working with Anna Paola and her gorgeous team made it such a treat. Working with the colourful, bold Paolita prints has been a revelation as I have always shied from incorporating prints in our designs - and the result? The line-up and the story could not be more joyful.

We designed this collection highlighting details from Paolita’s swimwear range, the buckled belt, the bikini bow ties (bows are an A Piedi must!) as well as bringing print on print on print to life to make the sandals work harder for our short-lived summer wardrobes (in England that is).”
