Drawn by hand. Worn everywhere.

Why artistry will always outlast imitation

Animal print has become shorthand for “bold.”
But somewhere along the way, bold became repetitive.

At Paolita, we’ve never been interested in copying what already exists or repeating what everyone else is doing. Prints are where we begin, not where we decorate.

The difference between a pattern and a print

Most “animal prints” start with a reference and end with a shortcut. A motif is copied, recoloured, resized and repeated.

Ours begin with a blank page.

Every Paolita print is drawn by hand, line by line, allowing it to evolve naturally. Shapes are softened, colours are layered, and negative space is treated with as much intention as the artwork itself.

The result is something that feels organic rather than obvious.

Designed to move, not shout

A print should complement the body not compete with it.

That’s why our artwork is designed in tandem with silhouette. The placement of colour, scale of illustration, and rhythm of repetition are all considered against movement: walking, swimming, travelling, living.

Nothing is accidental. Nothing is rushed.

Why we don’t follow trends

Trends flatten creativity.

They reward speed over thought and volume over meaning. Paolita prints are intentionally limited, not because scarcity is fashionable, but because originality deserves restraint.

When you wear one of our pieces, you’re wearing something that won’t be everywhere — and was never meant to be.

From sketchbook to sun-warmed destinations

Our prints are inspired by places, memories, and art — not algorithms.
They’re designed to feel collected, not consumed.

Made to travel with you.
Made to be noticed quietly.
Made to last beyond a season.

Not another animal print

Just something drawn differently.
