Inspired by Talavera pottery from the Mexican cities of Puebla, Cholula and Tecali, and named after the Spanish city of Talavera de la Reina, the uniquely Mexican print has been produced since the 16th century and is a blend of indigenous and European artistry.

Traditionally painted in blue, only a few other colours were introduced to Talavera pottery over the centuries. The subtle and sophisticated shades of dark red, navy blue, earthy taupe and white that feature in this print reflect the simple colour palette of these artisanal tiles.

Our best selling silhouette is back and more beautiful than ever. Striking navy panels around the bust, hips and mid-section flatter and draw attention to the female form, whilst careful placement prints allow this piece to shine. Sophisticated and chic, with elegant hues of burgundy, navy and taupe throughout, our Talavera is the ultimate show-stopper.

The Talavera story offers three bikini styles which cater to a variety of bust shapes.

The Merida cross-back bikini top features removable padding and multiwear adjustable straps at the back. There is a laddered trim detail around the bust, which gives an added touch of femininity.

The Toluca bandeau bikini top has removable straps and underwired moulded cups, which offer support, comfort and versatility.

The Sinaloa triangle bikini is reversible to a secondary print, allowing you to switch up your style and show off a different look for the day.
