A walk through an Indian street is not complete without marvelling at the traditional havelis, whose arched doorways in rust orange sandstone and turquoise blue and green painted exteriors helped inspire the Karma print.
The jewel of the collection, the Karma one piece is printed on a soft shimmery fabric base and features gold mesh side panels, which creates an ethereal shimmer. This simple shape has a plunging scooped back and high cut leg line, which streamline the body and lengthen the legs, whilst the mesh side panels cinch in the waist section allowing the Goddess wearing it to glow like the sun.
The Aurelia bikini with its finely overlocked frill trim creates a feminine shape by emphasising the bust and waist. Subtle ruffle ties at the neck and waist compliment this bikini and add a touch of fun.
Karma, an ancient idea that refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect, is depicted by ancient Indian architectural motifs and religious ceremonial horses decorated in bejewelled dress. Truly authentic in design, the colours draw inspiration from these beautiful surroundings, with turquoise blues, warm yellows and burnt orange tones, set against a creamy white that compliments the skin.
